Weight:  185.0 lbs  9:30 AM  3/27/2010  after breakfast no clothes

Learned:  US Army  Optimum Body Weight calculator says I need to be under 150 lbs.  I’m 185.  So my goal is to lose 35 more pounds over the coming months.

Breakfast:  heaping 1/8 cup oats (oatmeal) – 50 cals, 1 poached egg – 90 cals, 5 grams soft margarine – 30 cals, 5 oz coffee, 25 grams brown sugar – 100 cals, 15 grams dry creamer – 60 cals, Total = 255 cals.

Lunch:  4 oz fresh, microwaved lamb –  330 cals, 1.25 oz toasted bread – 100 cals, 3 oz kettle corn – 370 cals

Dinner:  7 oz Sara’s delicious meatloaf  – 550 oz, 1 oz avocado – 50 cals, 1 oz asparagus/mushrooms/oiled 50 cals, 1 oz butternut squash – 10 cals, Total = 660 cals.

Comments:

  • Down roughly 25 lbs.  My weighing became more apples to apples after realizing this was working as a diet.
  • Yesterday’s happy hour splurge at the Nextspace Friday late afternoon event didn’t add weight.  It was hard to guestimate calories but there were a lot, 700-1200 just eating the small snacks.
  • I feel good today but craved some butter (soft margarine – 6 cals USDA per gram ) on my egg (5 grams added – 30 cals)
  • Went to farmers market with Holita and Sara.  Observed a bit more.
  • Went to Whole Foods for the first time.  Bought some lean lamb at a good price but a lot of the prices there were sky high.  Premium for organic is at least 50%.  Who knows how it was really grown.
